Did you watch the Oscars last night? I’m a big fan of all the gowns, as well as the suits; but I what I love is when a winner gives *that* speech. The kind when you get a little verklempt and might try to fight back a tear or two because they are so sincere and amazed by the honor. There were so many great ones, but one of my favorites was Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who won for Best Original Song, “Let It Go” from Frozen. They were so charming with their rhyming acceptance speech.
On to the red carpet! In a nutshell: Angelina Jolie looked radiant. Lupita Nyong’o’s gown made me want to dive in for a swim. JLaw’s red gown owned the red carpet. Kerry Washington was stunning. Kelly Osbourne was flawless. And I loved the white jackets, white gowns and lighter metallics this year. It was incredibly hard to narrow it down to these 12, but here are my favorite looks from the night:
